I can do what I want
How do you feel about authority?
You may say that everyone has the authority to do what he or she wants to do. Ultimately, we have rights over everything in our lives. Of course, that's not possible; not even Biblical. The book of Ecclesiastes tells us that no man has the authority to prevent the specific day of his death, or the power to escape the obligation of actually facing death.
We don't even have power over whether our life continues or how it continues. In other words, we really don't have as much authority as we think we have and can never have the ultimate authority we would like to have. Before you get depressed, just remember this: Your creator, the one who made you and knows exactly what makes you happy and what thrills your soul, says that he has prepared a place where there is eternal joy. He guarantees it, and he has the power and authority to make it happen.
