Who would have thought that the last bulletin article of the year would literally come down to the last day of the year? I do know that a glance at my calendar would have helped, but the fact that I am having these thoughts as I write at the end of this year indicates just how quickly the year has passed. We’ve had quite a year, haven’t we? There have been some marvelous blessings. There have been some trying circumstances. At the time I am writing these words, I know there will be repeated programs on television and messages on social media that will keep recalling all those scenes for us to watch again and again. I’m guilty. I have found myself watching some memorable scene and almost relived it in my mind. It’s a blessing at times.
