I can’t think of a time when I didn’t enjoy Vacation Bible School! It didn’t have to be so fancy (I always enjoyed cookies and Kool-Aid whatever the reason). But there was also the opportunity to do something during this week that was ‘different from the normal class’ and that is what was special. New friends (we were all growing up together— developing shared memories) and new lessons that emphasized parts of the Bible I may never had heard before. So, please plan, pray and participate in this new adventure. This is the only opportunity these children will have to experience this event with us.
