Thanksgiving is here! Finally. I say that because it is now acceptable to focus on the positive, and for most of us, we have heard so many negative things about our world that it has been difficult to see the good. But we are indeed blessed and this holiday is an outstanding way to carry on the process to each succeeding generation. Shared Blessings is a program that was begun as an outreach to the city of Memphis, helping congregations in the area to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of people in the area.
