Sometimes, I take it for granted that everyone knows the history of our area-wide worship service, which we have called, “Our Journey of Faith.” Perhaps a little background will help us see what possibilities we have in working with this each year. Years ago, we had a city-wide effort called Training for Service. Congregations contributed to a common fund to have a week-long event where individual teachers were training people how to lead Bible studies, work with various service projects, and worship services held each evening.
