What are you thinking about?

Okay, here's a question (and be honest): What were you just now thinking about? Something that happened in the past, or something that's going to happen in the future? Or as one man said, “Are you a person of nostalgia or a person of promise?” That's one reason I love reading the Bible. Its direction is toward the future. When God called Abraham, He said, “Go from your country and I'll make of you a great nation.”

When he called Moses, He said, “Come to me and I will send you to Pharaoh to deliver my people.”

He had a plan and people believed His promises and acted upon them. When Jesus calls us, He delivers a form of the same message. There's something better in the future than we have ever known in the past. He said then, and he is saying now, the best is yet to be.

We can live in hope or live in despair. Let's listen to God's promises and choose hope. If you would like to learn more about those promises, please reach out to us.
