By the time you read this, our Elder’s Breakfast will be an historical event. But far more than just something occurring, it represents a time of praying, planning and preparing a way that we might, as a congregation, unite our efforts to achieve specific goals for 2024. Here are some individual ways you can help join us as we seek to serve God together here…

Love God. Love others. I suppose you can’t be much more simple than that. I know Jesus was repeating and embellishing on the commands given to the Jews in the Old Testament when He gave the greatest (foremost) command (as He called it in Mark 12).

What a BLESSING to awake to new opportunities each day to LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS! Dave reminded us last week as we begin a NEW YEAR that we all have choices and decisions to make daily.

Welcome to 2024! I am so glad that we are able to experience this together! The life of the church is certainly fascinating, isn’t it? It is not only unpredictable, it is a constant source of revelation about the nature of God and the nature of man.

Who would have thought that the last bulletin article of the year would literally come down to the last day of the year? I do know that a glance at my calendar would have helped, but the fact that I am having these thoughts as I write at the end of this year indicates just how quickly the year has passed.

We haven’t faced serious wintry weather yet, but we have surely understood what it is like to be in a warm, loving family that wants to reach out to those who are around us with the good news that Jesus brings.

It is good to have the privilege of worship. We are able to gather regularly with a large number of people who love the Lord and who are committed to assembling for the purpose bowing as a group to the Lord who made us.

It is truly a wonderful time of year! Here are some events that you should know about: Our Teacher’s Appreciation Night was a huge success! We had the chance to show the importance of teachers for both young and old. Brian did a great job - assisted by our young men - in focusing the spotlight on those who invest their time in our children. What a great opportunity for us!
